THE NEW DSNG WITH MPEG-2 & MPEG-4 ENCODER / RECEIVER
The new DSNG 1+1 VPC of SwissNews Inc. has been approved as very reliable. On July 31st 2012 we install the two brand new MPEG-4 Encoder EN81-02-MOD-IF and two new MPEG-4 IRD RD60-ADV-PK1. Therefore we can now transmit in 2+2 SD/HD MPEG-2 oder 1+1 MPEG-4. At the moment the MPEG-4 encoder are in 4:2:2, 8bit. But as soon the 10bit upgrade is released we will update all to 10bit.
